Today was a nice day. I finished my Alan Banks novel. It was great. VERY GOOD. Second one in the series I read. And I am so sad to find out that CCK library only has the two books I have read so far. I will find a way to get my hands on the rest of the series :D. Went for swimming to attempt burning off some of the fats. I totally did not succeed in doing that considering the amount I ate. I ate soooo much chu bi peng in the afternoon. But it was damn nice although my mom didn't like it much. Then I ate popiah. Then for dinner it was fish soup which wasn't too bad. Unfortunately I washed it down with mui cai + roasted duck + satay + sugercane + root beer + tangyuan + tau huay + chin chao + a pear. God my stomach felt like it was going to burst. I'm surprised I held all that in. Which reminds me, I feel like trying some of that beer my father brought home :D. If only human beings could eat and eat and eat and eat and not feel full and not put on weight and not become unhealthy from it. Won't that be great. Maybe not huh. I will be like bankrupt. The hawkers will be rich though.
The not so good part of today was the lizards. It's as if my house became a breeding ground for lizards over the last 2 weeks. Already in my room 2 lizards were caught. *Pukes* I hate lizards. And one of them slept overnight in my room *pukes more*. That entire night I practically didn't sleep a wink. Then today, I saw ANOTHER lizard. Which wasn't caught. GROSS. For that reason, I am keeping my window closed and locked for the rest of the year. DISGUSTING GECKOS. I'm not sure why I'm so scared of them either. They are suppossed to be good for killing pests. But I rather have flies around the house or whatnots. I can catch them. Not lizards though. They are gross. They are so fast and look gross and are dirty. And I haven't even came to the part about their gross sucker pads at their feet. The mere thought makes me want to puke. And they regenerative tails. And they have tongues that they can stick out and catch flies right. OMG. GROSSNESS. I HATE LIZARDS. There should be an anti lizard club. I will be the first to join. *Note to self: Future boyfriend/husband HAS HAS HAS to be able to catch lizards*
BUT. BUT. BUT something cheered me up. I finally found 'Wild Orchids' on Youtube. Chinese name: 再见萤光兰. Fantastic ok. I LOVED this show when it was showing. Then I missed the re-run. BECAUSE OF SCHOOL.. SIGH. Thomas Ong + Fann wong. *Melts*
