My my. I hate being a tv junkie. Watching any show that comes
along the way. If I'm really bored, and I really dont' want to
study, any crap show on the television will just be absorbed by
me.. like I'm some rubbish bin, watching anything others dont'
want to. Probably shouldn't do that huh, encouraging these
shiteous producers to come up with more shiteous shows, by
deluding them with unreal ratings.
Anyway, here's my real productive schedule. The definition of
productive here of course varies. To an 'O' level student like me,
this is probably like the low productivity, since I did nothing to
score well for my 'O's huh. But who cares.. If only the schedule
as follows puts me en route to being the top scorer. Ha, I'll just
laugh my ass off.
11.00 am: Wake up, eat fattening big breakfast + hotcake +
watch spongebob square pants
11.30 am - 12.30pm: Watch MTV amplified. And my mom was
complaining about the noise.
12.30 pm - 1.00 pm: Watch Fairly Odd Parents (hahaha.
Childish me)
1.oo pm - 1.30 pm: Watch iCarly. Well since iCarly ended 10
minutes earlier, I spent the rest of my time watching Making
the Band 4.
My life up to this point seems to revolve around Nickelodeons and MTV.
Next...
1.30 pm - 4.00 pm: Watch Pushing Daisies online while
intermittently being disturbed by my mom and brothers
4.00 pm - 5.oo pm: Jogging :D Finally something HEALTHY
5.00 pm - 6.30 pm: Bathe, eat dinner in front of the television
which was broadcasting channel 8's Portrait Of Home.
Entertaining to see dysfunctional families
6.30 pm - 7.00 pm: Watch Korean documentary 'Screening
Humanity' on KBS. It's amazing how the mother has 5 boys at
an age of 32, with her eldest child being 13. And she works to 1
am everyday. I respect her.
7.oopm - 8.00pm : NEW EPISODES OF AVATAR (recorded.
Since Avatar screens at 6.30 - 7.30 everyday). Haha. This is
what I look forward to EVERYDAY. For this week at least.
LOVES for Zuko and Sokka haha.
8.00 pm - 10.30 pm: More Pushing Daisies = Wrapped up the
whole series , making it a grand total of 9 episodes in 3 days
11.00 pm - 12.30 pm: Play games. Be it computer or PS2 or PSP.
Who cares.
12.30 pm - 1.30pm: Watch more shows. Usually Raven or any
korean shows my mom is watching.
Heh. I love my day. Watching Television isn't that bad you
know.
Good points
- Helps me improve my English :D. Heh. Watching Pushing
dasies made me realise that awry is pronounced as (oh-ri)
not (oh-re). Haha. Of course it might be the American way
of pronouncing. But do I care to open my dictionary.. Not
really. - Burns some fats. An hour of chortles apparently burns off
1 chocolate bar. So if I watch Friends the whole day, which
is about 15 hours at least, that would be 15 whopping bars.
Or if I dont' eat bars.. It would at least be one meal. Not bad
considering not much effort is put into this. - Some ideas for my English essay. Of course, in the exams
I couldn't write about a guy who can bring the dead back to
life with a touch of his finger, then banish them to eternal
sleep with another touch, or about a boy who can bend air
fire earth and water. But.. there are certain viable story lines
ok, the Bad points:
- I do realise that this hours wasted could put me into
finishing my whole Bio book. IN A DAY. Which would
potentially be more productive. But would I reach such
levels of satisfaction as I have today. NO. So would I have
spent my day any differently?. A resounding NO.
You know, watching shows & playing games like this makes my
brain dead. I know. Because my brain really becomes rusty,
refuses to think. Hell, I think I wouldn't even be able to do my
times table now. I know its bad. But there are many things
out there which I really like, and I'm sure everybody likes which
we all know is not good. But who gives a damn?
